Build What Should Have Existed All Along

Make Me Visible was created to address a gap most systems still do not account for: when serious situations cross legal, medical, financial, family, employment, and state systems at the same time, responsibility often disappears.

People are told to document the issue.
Report it.
Wait for a response.
Try another office.
Find another professional.

But when no one remains responsible for continuity, the person at the center of the crisis is left to carry the burden alone. Make Me Visible exists to change that.

We are building a structure for protection, visibility, documentation, and accountability for people who have been forced to navigate serious circumstances without backing. This work cannot be built alone. It requires partners who understand that real support is not symbolic. It is structural.

Why Partnership Matters

Most institutions only see one part of a person’s situation.

A hospital sees a medical issue.

A lawyer sees a legal issue.

A financial institution sees a transaction.

A state agency sees a case file.

An employer sees a workplace issue.

But real life does not happen in isolated categories. For many people, these issues overlap all at once. That is where people are most likely to be left without protection.

Partnership matters because no single discipline can solve this alone. We need collaboration across systems to build responses that are actually capable of holding the full reality.

Who We Partner With

We welcome partnership with individuals and organizations who understand the urgency of this work and want to help build something real. This may include:

Legal Professionals

Attorneys, legal advocates, and legal researchers who understand case attrition, enforcement gaps, fiduciary failures, professional withdrawal, and the consequences of unresolved legal matters.

Medical Professionals

Physicians, nurses, specialists, patient advocates, and health system leaders who understand what happens when medically vulnerable people lose continuity of care or are left without stable backing.

Financial and Regulatory Professionals

Investigators, compliance professionals, financial institutions, consumer protection specialists, and regulatory experts who understand exploitation, transaction disputes, fraud reporting, and financial recovery barriers.

Journalists and Investigators

Reporters, editors, producers, and documentary teams who are examining patterns of institutional response, non-intervention, professional disengagement, and accountability failure.

Researchers and Policy Experts

Academics, policy staff, think tanks, and institutional researchers studying systems response, fragmented responsibility, adult protection failures, institutional behavior, and multi-system case patterns.

Technologists and Builders

Designers, engineers, product thinkers, and systems architects who want to help build the tools, workflows, documentation structures, and escalation systems this platform requires.

Survivor-Led Leaders

People with lived experience who understand what it means to navigate serious circumstances without structural backing and who want to help transform that lived reality into a stronger public response.

What Partnership Can Look Like

Strategic Guidance

Helping shape the documentation model, protection pathways, institutional logic, and public framing of the platform.

Professional Expertise

Offering field-specific knowledge in law, healthcare, finance, enforcement, communications, or public systems.

Research and Analysis

Supporting studies, pattern analysis, policy memos, or public-interest documentation.

Media and Investigative Collaboration

Helping surface recurring patterns that deserve wider scrutiny and public attention.

Technology and Product Support

Contributing to the app, case-intake systems, timeline structures, and visibility tools.

Institutional Collaboration

Working with Make Me Visible to identify response gaps and strengthen recognition of multi-system situations.

Resource Support

Helping sustain the work through financial support, infrastructure, sponsorship, or operational partnership.

What We Are Looking For

Real support is not a motivational phrase.

It is continuity.

Protection is not a referral.

It is follow-through.

Visibility is not branding.

It is often the only thing preventing erasure.

Accountability is not an apology after the fact.

It is a structure that prevents people from being left alone in the first place.

We are especially interested in partners who understand that many people do not have:

Family supportProfessional continuityInstitutional credibilityA witnessSomeone powerful enough to stand behind them
Those are the people this platform is built for.

What This Is Not

Not a support groupNot a wellness brandNot a performative advocacy project

It is a structural initiative focused on what happens when people are forced to carry legal, medical, financial, family, and institutional failures without reliable backing.

We are not looking for saviors. We are looking for people and organizations willing to help build something stronger than what currently exists.

Why This Work Is Different

Most efforts in this space focus on awareness. Some focus on healing. Others focus on isolated services. Make Me Visible focuses on the missing layer in between: the structure that should exist when serious situations cross systems and no one is taking responsibility for the whole picture.

This platform was built from lived evidence, institutional records, repeated failures of continuity, and the repeated reality of having to rebuild without support. That is why the work is both survivor-led and structurally grounded.

I am not looking for emotional support. I am looking for people who understand that when institutions and professionals step away, responsibility does not disappear. It transfers to the person already struggling to survive the situation. Make Me Visible exists to stop that transfer from happening by default.
