About Us
Make Me Visible
is a structural accountability initiative.
Addressing the protection gaps that occur when life-altering injustice crosses multiple institutions.
Across healthcare, legal, workplace, financial, and social systems, documented wrongdoing often receives little meaningful response.
When situations involve several systems at once, responsibility becomes siloed and people are left navigating complex crises on their own.
Make Me Visible was created to confront that gap.
We document patterns of institutional abandonment, increase visibility around systemic failures, and push for real protection and coordination.
What Makes This Platform Different
Make Me Visible was not created from theory. It was built from lived experience navigating systemic failure across multiple institutions over more than two decades.
Evidence Over Narratives
Every issue documented through this platform is grounded in records, timelines, and documented institutional interactions.
Structural Accountability
The goal is not simply sharing stories. The goal is identifying where responsibility disappears and where accountability mechanisms are missing.
Survivor-Led Design
The platform was built by someone who had to act as their own advocate, investigator, medical navigator, legal coordinator, and protector because no system stepped in.
How This Platform Was Built
Many people facing serious injustice still have someone to turn to. That was not the case here.
- 01
For years, the founder navigated medical crises, financial exploitation, institutional dismissal, and personal betrayal without a reliable support system.
- 02
No family stepping in. No advocate forcing institutions to listen. No professional responsible for coordinating protection.
What emerged was not simply a personal story. It was a pattern, showing how easily people fall through the gaps between institutions when no authority is responsible for stepping in.
The Mission
This platform is not a healing center or another support group. It is an effort to build the foundation and protection that should have existed for people navigating serious injustice without reliable advocates.
To stabilize, protect, and restore visibility for people who survived betrayal, abandonment, and systemic neglect without meaningful support.
Who This Work Exists For
They did not lack effort, intelligence, or persistence. They lacked protection.
Punished for telling the truth in environments that protected silence
Dismissed by medical professionals while navigating serious illness
Ignored by institutions after reporting exploitation or misconduct
Financially harmed by individuals in positions of trust
Retaliated against after speaking about wrongdoing
Scapegoated within families or organizations during moments of crisis
I am not looking for sympathy. My experience navigating betrayal, invisibility, and systemic abandonment revealed how easily individuals can fall through the gaps between institutions. Make Me Visible was created so these patterns are no longer ignored.
A Call for Collaboration
Addressing systemic abandonment requires collective effort.
Make Me Visible welcomes collaboration from journalists, researchers, policymakers, advocates, technologists, legal advocates, activist organizations, and builders committed to strengthening accountability across institutions.
